Banta School Goals

Goal #1 STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
As a staff we will support and implement rigorous reading and writing across the curriculum by focusing on Common Core standards grades K-8.

Goal #2 COMMUNICATION
As a school we will foster continuous open lines of communication between students, staff, and parents.

Goal #3 PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Staff will encourage a supportive relationship between school, parents,and the community that will actively support school programs and activities.

Goal #4 LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Staff will maintain a positive, safe and clean environment that promotes learning and social growth.    

Goal #5 TECHNOLOGY
We will continually pursue current technology that will support and be integrated into our curriculum.

Goal #6 EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Extra-curricular activities, sports and learning experiences will be available to all students.

Goal #7 CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
All staff will receive further training in writing, math and technology instruction.
